About the Project

MIND THE GAP: Supporting Generation Z's Mental Well-being and Resilience

Generation Z is entering the workforce during a period of rapid technological, economic, and social change. While this generation brings valuable skills, creativity, and digital fluency, many young people are also facing growing challenges related to mental health, stress, uncertainty, and workplace adaptation.

Digital overload, social pressures, economic instability, and changing workplace expectations can affect young people's well-being, confidence, motivation, and ability to cope with everyday challenges. At the same time, employers and organizations are looking for effective ways to support the needs and expectations of a new generation of employees.

MIND THE GAP is an Erasmus+ cooperation project that aims to bridge this gap by promoting mental well-being, resilience, and workplace readiness among Generation Z.

The project brings together partners from across Europe to develop innovative and accessible resources that help young people strengthen their emotional resilience, improve their coping skills, and successfully navigate the transition from education to employment.

Our Objectives

MIND THE GAP seeks to:

  • Promote positive mental health and emotional well-being among Generation Z.
  • Strengthen resilience and coping skills in the face of personal and professional challenges.
  • Support young people in developing confidence, self-awareness, and workplace readiness.
  • Raise awareness of mental health issues and contribute to reducing stigma.
  • Help employers, HR professionals, and work councils better understand and support Generation Z employees.
  • Foster healthier, more inclusive, and more supportive workplace environments.

A European Partnership for Positive Change

The project is implemented by a multidisciplinary consortium of organizations from France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece, Austria, Bulgaria, and Italy, bringing together expertise in mental health, education, innovation, digital technologies, workplace development, and social inclusion.

Together, we are working to create practical, innovative, and sustainable solutions that empower young people to thrive both personally and professionally.

Building a More Resilient Future

MIND THE GAP believes that mental well-being is essential for personal development, professional success, and social inclusion. By providing innovative resources and promoting supportive workplace cultures, the project contributes to a future where young people can enter the workforce with confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of well-being.
